Friday 19th July 2024, The Ho West DCE, Honourable Ernest Victor Apau, together with various stakeholders held engagement meetings on development of Honuta Waterfall and Tsitga falls of Kpoeta respectively.
Opportunities for the local communities were discussed and stakeholders were very appreciative.
The 2 projects earmarked to commence in 2 weeks are estimated to generate minimum 1,200 jobs within first year and 3,000 jobs in five years time.
Currently, the Avatime Amedzofe canopy walkway and allied projects have created 750 jobs.
The DCE indicated that, these have been the dream over a long period of time.
The general public is encouraged to support the project and take advantage of the numerous opportunities associated.
Meanwhile, DCE hinted on developing of 3 other tourist sites before December 2024.
